Yes; however, the tension won't be consistent. With a cable machine, there's constant tension on the muscle. When it comes to using a resistance band, the tension increase as you reach the top end and decrease as you return to the starting position. Just imagine pulling a rubber band with both hands. Spreading your hands apart and then bringing them back together.
It’s harder than you think, that’s why you start with low weight. Higher reps with low weight helps with toning. If you want to bulk then work your way up, adding 5 lbs until it’s too easy.
I just recovered from Patella Tendonitis and I need to know what is safe but I can still use to Increase Glutes. Will this put too much strain on the knees. I want to avoid them completely such as with Leg Curls. If I add weight I do so on thigh
