I was never formally taught this either, Linda. Some of it i recognize from having figured it out on my own, but a lot of it is new to me and I'm learning it for the first time. I know i said it elsewhere, but i do so appreciate you making this series of videos. I'm looking forward to the next one!

@booktalkingwithlibrarylin1924 Nope, you're not! Apparently, my parents felt the same way because even though they surely came across this book, they never mentioned it, and it might be because they never finished it. HA! They did teach us kids to learn actively, though - not just from paying attention in school. We had the whole set of Britannicas, regularly watched PBS, every thing we did on the farm was a lesson - vegetable gardening (botany), beekeeping (environmentalism), butchering (anatomy), etc. - and of course books, LOTS of books, tons of books. My house is still just like that - everywhere, books.

How are you doing mrs Linda . Thank you for your wonderful cultural channel. Honestly with every new video you posting I learn new information and new vocabularies. Evaluate means judge , synonyms appraising critical . How to evaluate author proposalS and argument you need to consider their credibility and what their conclusions are based on solid premise to build arguments and Develop thesis , you will need to revisit your own prewriting multiple times .Argument and proposals essay writing steps after brief introduction of your topic , you draft your point of view on topic directly and often in sentences. We appreciate your great efforts as foreigners subscribers as overseas students want to increase our cultural level improve our English. Merry Christmas happy new year.
