How to Exit Valet Mode | Remote Start Basics & Installation 

I have Sonata 2018 model and my remote start wasnt working. I have followed his advice and it really start working. Thanks to him to share knowledge and educate others.... 👍😊❤

A couple of months ago I had disconnected my battery for several hours while I did some trim removal and cleaning. Figured out how to reinitialize everything else (windows, radio, etc.) but my remote start wasn’t working. Found a few videos but finally came across this one and decided to go for it, as it seemed the most simple solution with clear instructions. I used the pedal method and it worked! Thank you for showing how easy it is, exactly what mine is doing, now I can try either way. I'll try brake 1st. If not then 2bd way. I think it could of happened by buttons being pressed or a mechanic fixed my waterpump and a gasket and was nice and became a jackass after. Gasket was wrong and I said a great mechanic matches parts before installing them and that was on truck, I ordered correct one and went to get an out, wanted off bill and buy elsewhere but gave it to me cheaper than the cost of a large cup of coffee cost. I didn't check it to see if had oil cooler. Mine did. Looks close but close don't get you home.

My daughter, and son in law got a car as a gift from his mother. It came with remote start, but wouldn't work. This video was exactly what I needed to get it working for them again!

I have 2010 Escalade and got compustar with drone lte remote starter installed. The remote starter works great but now I cannot use the key to start the car. When I turn the key nothing happens and I have to use the remote starter to start the engine. This is inconvenient when taking the car for service. Just wondering if valet mode would allow the key to work for when I take the car in for service

make, model, equipment used would make this video go a longer way. you dont say which car or truck your in or the sytem being used ie. factory or aftermarket.

hey i have a question, i have a aftermarket remote start in my truck. the brand is named "Code Alarm" when i first got the truck i could use it, tget in the truck and put my key in, turn it to on and go, but now when i use the remote start, it will crank my truck but when i open my door my truck automatically shuts off. why did it start doing this? if you know of anything that could help that woule be awesome! thanks so much!

Not sure the questionable valet mode is my problem, however my problem is the remote start on my 2012 Dodge Journey only works once in awhile. Any idea what could be wrong? (Already charged the key fob battery).

I have a 2005 toyota avalon limited, when I use the remote start the Hazzard lights flash 8 times then the car shuts off, is that valet mode doing it?

Please help. I'm not having luck. When I put it in ignition mode which is start the car, I tried both the 10 gas pumps & the once hit lock and truck at the same time. I tried with key in and started it, then pressed start button with trunk open and it blinked I seen once but idle was way down than when started it which did something to it.

I have a question. My remote starter stopped working recently right after I did the brakes. So I had to pump the brakes afterwards and I'm thinking I put my car in valet mode. Here is how i turned it off “open ALL passenger doors”. Close the driver door then on the car remote press lock,unlock then lock again one after the other pretty quick.

The pedal method isnt working for me. I just got this car 3 weeks ago and all the seller had is the main black key, no fob. Mine is a 2000 xk8. Uocki.g the trunk doesn't work either nor does locking and unlocking the door. Can u help? Thank you. God ✝️ Bless
