Understand the 3 steps of learning golf. 1. The ball is doing something wrong. 2. What are the club doing to make that happend. 3 How do I change to make the club to do a better job.
Let me help you get a effortless golfswing with speed and accuracy. A good release will help you to a better impact and longer drives and irons without slice and hook.
Long and straight is every ones goal but it takes time. Try to focus on one thing not everything when you practise. Impact, face control and swingpath will always be the most important part to drill.
If you use callaway, ping, titleist or taylor made clubs doesn’t matter you can learn to hit good golf shots. Your loft or your shaft on the club will not change but you can get better.
Find what inspires you. The pga tour, longdrivers or other good golfers can all help you find better golf shots. Watch what they do instead of listed to what they say. Listen mostly to your body and figure out what you need to do to produce the same results as the pros on TV.
Mike Malaska, Mike Austin, Mike Dunaway and Steve Pratt are some of my favorite golf instructors online. Find the tips that make your golf better. Decide what you want to hit. I teach a draw but many like a fade and nobody likes a hook or slice.
Your hips or your lag is not the key to golf. Your hands will decide the shot and you can do like Tiger Woods and trust your hands. Teach your hands to hit different shots. Hit big hooks and slices to understand what happens. Only straight is not gonna teach you anything.
Bryson Dechambeu and Kyle Birkshire can inspire you to hit it longer. Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson can give you inspiration and motivation to test new things and new golf shots.
The Masters, Players Championship, The Players, The Open and US Open can make you love golf even more. See the best in the world solve all the problems we all need to master any golf course. Golf is a craft and you need fantasy, feel and skills to master it.

Left handed and your comments around releasing and not holding the lag really resonate with me. I’ve tried to do this but always felt I was wrong cause all this crap out there otherwise. Now I can work on the release “behind” the ball even more guilt free!!!

I'm lefthanded and a slicer, The nicest feeling in golf for me is when I see not very often the ball curve right. lol

Work on your early release and you will see more in the future. 👍

@@GolfwithMarcusEdblad I'm lefthanded, so do I need to get the feeling that the left hand is extending sooner to get an earlier release?
@GolfwithMarcusEdblad
@GolfwithMarcusEdblad 17 дней назад
@@rickwilliams6922 Mostly you need your trail arm to extend earlier. That way you will reach an earlier low point and release.

My two misses with your swing are hitting it fat and a heavy draw as opposed to a hook. I believe the fat shots come from poor release of hands. The over draw might be from to fast of a body rotation causing face to close early. Thanks for your lessons!
@GolfwithMarcusEdblad
@GolfwithMarcusEdblad Год назад
Hi David. I believe that the fat shot is an early landing and you need to push towards a point further forward. The hook is a rolling wrist release instead of a more up release. Watch this to understand the hook: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-CJsCi_tFr9c.html

Could you please make a video with drills on how to avoid taking the club behind you? Maybe some feels you have in your lead and trail arm during the back swing?

That we can do. 👍

Marcus I like your move. You put the club head behind the ball then raise a little while hovering club head over the ball, then it is all down from the top. You have ingrained that move, and my question is that a move you encourage some of your students to do? Great swing with Awesome impact, you have.

Hi Teddy. I learned that hitting balls everyday in a fairwaybunker. And it stuck. I don’t teach that, I think these things should come natural.

You have the best instructions. Just curious do you ever drink beer while playing golf. How do you play a few beers?

I rarely drink beer playing golf so I can't answer that my friend. 😊

@@GolfwithMarcusEdblad Thanks, only asked because I knew a guy who would drink a 6 pack of tall ones and he got better as he played. If I drink one, I start having more issues. I understand. I prefer not to drink and play golf, it's better to save that for the 19th hole. 😀 I love your instructions. I think I may have come across you once and changed out because I saw you were a lefty, and seemed like you were saying everything different from everyone else. Low and behold You're much better than any of the 3 people I've paid lessons for and I didn't get any better that would last. Do you have a program outside of the youtube videos?

Hej Marcus . When you hit the Ball out to the left, is the clubface square to the target or to your swing path to the left? Ps changed my swing to your system and all irons have nice draws, still struggling with the driver😂
@GolfwithMarcusEdblad
@GolfwithMarcusEdblad 11 месяцев назад
Hi Jakob. The face should be open to the target and closed to the path. We can't feel this but we can control when we start releasing the trail side and give the club more or less time to close. Most golfers I meet struggle with timing and release the driver too late.

@@GolfwithMarcusEdblad wow.very impressed.thank you.the one thing I don't get is when you use your hands to release the driver.if u don't rotate won't it slam into the ground way behind the ball without rotation,? Do you ever come to the u.s.?
