Hi Greg I got a question because I think that we got burn with our money. we may order on Alibaba for over $2,000 dollars. And it was on January 24 that's the day that they got the money. Now we talk to the supplier because is been over 2 weeks and nothing happens. The supplier say to us that the have a 10 days holiday that start the 27 of January and finish the 2 of February. Today is 7 of February and we don't have any answers from them. we still talking to the supplier but she say to us that they will start after that day. And that the making the raw material. What can I do with this situation? is thruth what she say or we got burn.

hey great video. I have one question about the labels. did flexport add your labels on the package and how did you do that, you just send in labels to them and they put it on?

+Pat Dec I actually just print the FNSKU's straight onto my packaging so we never have to label anything. If I didn't do this I think the next best option would be to have the factory apply the labels.

What do you think about using a supplier on indiamart? have you ever used the website instead of alibaba? could there be reliable suppliers on there aswell?

Great video Greg! I've learned a lot with your videos and I am excited to say I am in the process of talking to suppliers so that I can get samples for my first product! Btw, what company do you use to label your products? You mentioned they're in Northern California. How much do they charge compared to Amazon? Do you also pay that company in order to ship your items or do you use Amazons shipping services and then they pick it up at that location? Sorry for all of the questions, but I want to make sure I get all of the details right. Thanks

Hi Greg, I'm just in the process of getting ready to order my first trial shipment of my product for Amazon FBA. My question is regarding customs/import duties after the products arrive in the US. How are these normally handled/paid? I am in Canada and would have to ship the products directly to Amazon. I heard Amazon would not accept the product at their warehouses if there are outstanding custom costs etc. What is the process surrounding these types of issues? Thanks again

Renegadelightworker222 its tougher to rank your product or get it exposure its definitely harder to start newer products, sponosred ads i think are more competitive now. at some point you may think about just opening up your own website rather paying for so much ppc on amazon

great stuff, I'll def start using jungle scout ! I do have a quick questions, when analysing competition, I saw some people use the amazon ppc program, how can you use their program ? is it extremely effective in terms of conversions ? would you launch a product in a competitive market while using the ppc as an "edge" ?

+Bargain Gurus Amazon's PPC program is pretty easy to use, you can gain access to it after signing up for a professional sellers account. Yes, it is quite effective as for as conversions go. I don't know if it provides you a huge edge as a lot of sellers are already using it, I would still go into a niche that isn't too competitive.

Hi Greg, I'm really interested in starting but have an important question I need to address before I start this potential opportunity. Here it goes... It seems that your software identifies sales opportunities where the demand exceeds the supply thus giving an entry point to introduce more, similar, products. If many, say thousands of people, (the guys using your software) see the same entry points, and introduce those same products, the supply will increase as to where the supply and demand are even. Would this not eliminate that "opportunity"? Like a case of lots of people chasing the same dragon?

Jan Ludvik thats the problem with software, everyone using it will reach the same conclusion or similar conclusions. take for example online arbitrage scanninf software, you have groups of ppl scanning for the same products thus creating competition and eliminating opportunity

If my product costs 9 dollars - why is the amazon fee 4 dollars? I searched for amazon fees, and under "Kitchen and Dining" It says 15% - so why do you say like 40%? (4 dollars out of 9 dollars)

The 15% is just their commission. This doesn't include the fulfillment fee's if you use FBA. You can find out the exact costs here: sellercentral.amazon.com/hz/fba/profitabilitycalculator/index?lang=en_US

Oh right. I am going to try and sell a product for 10 dollars, and i buy it for 0.86. Will it even be worth for me to sell on FBA? I can't store it at my home, because I live in Europe, and there are much more sales in USA.
