There are always animations waiting to happen around the house! Today we explore how to fix a leaking faucet. The kitchen sink handle was also not working smoothly, so I picked up a replacement Moen 1225 Cartridge and the rest, as they say, is in the video.
In this video I used a Danco replacement cartridge. It was to tight when inserting the cartridge and the handle wasn't easy to set to ~50% flow... it was always 0% or 100% flow. A little irritating. After about 1 week it started leaking significantly. I returned it and purchased the genuine Moen 1225 and haven't had an issue since. @@undeadsunbro Yes, be sure that the grease is for use with drinking water. NSF is the certification you should see on the tube.

Thanks for the video helped a lot for my first time doing this 👍 one question should I wait on drinking/using the water after because the grease or is it fine?

Good question! The grease is safe for use on items that drinking water passes over. If you want you can run a few gallons of water through both hot and cold to flush out any notable blobs that are present in the system.
