How to fix your broken Nintendo Ds Lite , because it won't charge or power on. This video shows where the fuses are located in the Nintendo Ds Lite and How to bypass them using a conductive pen.
Thanks for posting this! My daughter's DS Lite is doing the same thing as of today and I automatically thought it was the battery but after watching this I now have a fix. Thank you so much for making a tutorial!
Just watched your video. Gonna try fix my daughters ds. Great that you share this with everyone. I'll let you know how it goes. Thanks very much, top man! Gaz
Thank you! I hope to find a conductive pen and try to fix my DS when I can...hopefully it works. Thank you so much for the great instructions and figuring out such an easy and cheap fix. :)
Yep, perfect. I followed your instructions and it worked great. I had to layer it on a little thick. Maybe I was too impatient waiting for the paint to dry. Once it dried it worked perfectly! Thanks for posting.
I fix my son DS Lite by watching your video. Cost only buying Tri Wings screw driver and Circuitwriter Pen. I am happy and my son is Happy. Thank You and God Bless you.
Dude, thank you very much! My son had two broken DS lites. Your video showed me how to fix them. I used the solder blob technique because thats what I had available. It works fine too. Thanks! :Note, similar symptoms may be caused by the upper lcd ribbon cable. inspect it. re-attach it. It may be bad or warn in a small area. Mine was barley attached and causing problems. easy fix for u too maybe.
thanks for the great video you really help me out on my dsi but i didn't use circuitwriter i used a regular silver marker and it did worked too thanks for the help
Nice video man! I didnt even know pens like those exsisted! When I repaired a blown psp fuse, I used soldering iron to connect the fuse. But dang, with that pen everything looks way easier! Thanks for the info. Gonna try fixing a ds now.
thanks man for that great video it help a lot on dsi but i didn't use the circuitwriter i used a regular silver marker and it did worked too but thanks anyway for give us the idea thank you
let the juices flow thanks, about to try this on a friends DSLite. It has the same problem, tried several chargers, bought a new battery for it, still nothing. Thanks!
awesome man! it totally works 100%! a friend of mine and i bet on the seattle seahawks and san diego chargers football game, i bet him $20 that seattle would win and he bet his broken ds lite and i won. i watched your tutorial, followed the instructions and now i have a working nintendo ds lite which i basically got for free!!! lol thank you very much man!!!
fantastic! My lite just blew a fuse and I don't have the 250 to upgrade to a 3ds. I do have 10 to spend at radioshack though. What type and size of screwdriver do you use to remove the back plate? The screws on mine look like peace signs. I've never seen a screwdriver like this.
@6tysGaming you can try it, I didnt do it that way for fear that the solder would be to hot, plus you're gonna need a very steady hand and a pair on good eyes. good luck, let me know how you make out.
Thank you so much for posting this, I thought I was going to die without my ds working. Why do the fuses even stop working? Cuz my ps2 is still working and I have had it over 6 years... Alright I have a question, do you have to keep redoing this?
Hey I accidently forgot to use the pen thing to scrap the metal but I alredy used the circuit writer to jump the fuses it didn't work.,my ds still has the same problem what do I do
Hurr yoo shur yoose sum o dem fancy wurds fir a blak pursin! Lol anyway man appreciate the video I was really considering trying a conductive pen for fuse repairs on my pspgo and this helped make up my mind. Did you have to remove the fuses or just paint over them?
@snakecrane2001 i need help buying the right soldering gun. Can you please tell me where did you get yours cuz mine doesn't have a sharp point. Thanks eduardogto64
