THIS WAS MY ISSUE!!!! Thanks for the vid!! I was going crazy trying to figure out what’s wrong. Swapped bushings, ball joints etc. I feel like to only Evo owner that had this issue. 🙄. Glad I came across your video.
Just installed flex zs a couple weeks ago. Been trying adjustment after adjustment, check and recheck. Put a wrench on that nut for the one making noise and it's pretty loose. Hoping to go home, torque it down and be happy! Figured this would have been torqued out of the box but I guess not.....
Yesterday afternoon I installed new Function and Form type 2 coilevers in my '05 Acura RSX Type-S. As soon as I drove it for the first time after the install I was hearing a loud clunking (thump thump thump thump) LOL. from the passenger side rear of the car. It wasn't doing this before at all. I took the tire off after jacking it up and everything seemed tight. I even made sure the top two bolts in the hatch were tight. I don't know if coincidentally the rear sway bar end link went bad, or if I need to tighten the top of the actual strut like you did on the front of your car. I don't know if my car is too low now. I didn't adjust the height one way or the other when I installed both rear sides. No noise at all coming from the driver side rear. Any help and advice would be greatly appreciated.
i’m having the same issue. only rear passenger side is making loud slam noise over even simple bumbs. idk what the issue is the other 3 coil overs are fine.
@@BageI_ I just didn't have the rear passenger side tightened up enough. All good now. Still lower than I'd like. I have yellow Konis on the front. I have yet to put the new F/F on the front.
Brooooo. At 3:35 exactly you can literally see that lower seat of the coilover is BENT!!! Being that video quality is terrible for some reason that part of the video VERY CLEAR!
I live in New England. Every winter I would raise the car up (above stock height actually) and throw some snow tires on otherwise the car would be a snow plow lol
