There is not a lot you can do really other than apply petroleum jelly to help moisturise and prevent infection. Watch out for any rot or gangrene setting in as the circulation will have been affected.
Hi Phil, I have a question for you if you don't mind. All of my chickens have scaly legs and I wanted to know if I'm allowed to dip my eight-week old chicks feet in the petrouleum jelly. Idk if they are too young or not. Thx
Hi Phill I have a chicken that has excessive scaly leg we have used the scaly leg remover however it's still just as bad. Is their any other suggestions you can give? Or how often should we use the scaly leg remover can we use it more than once?
