In this video Strength & Conditioning Coach Cody Roberts is going to take you through a Lateral Quickness and Agility Workout for basketball players to incorporate into their routine to improve lateral explosiveness and quickness!
This workout is ideal for pre-season or post-season workouts, but it can also be used in season as a supplementary session or even a warm-up before a short practice session, IF you aren't practicing daily.

LATERAL QUICKNESS & AGILITY WORKOUT 0:00

Exercise #1: Push to Base 1:16
Exercise #2: Lateral Shuffle 2:10
Exercise #3: Crossover Acceleration 5:14
Exercise #4: Low Box Shuffle 9:08
Exercise #5: 1-2 Crossover & Stick 12:16

Like most exercises, proper technique is CRUCIAL. Cody Roberts instructs athletes how to perform these exercises properly to avoid injury.
Other Tips:
- Wear proper footwear
- Hydrate properly
- Perform a 5-10 minute warm-up before working out
- Make sure you are well rested before starting
