Brilliant! My grandson is bringing his Avalanche over so we can replace his headlight housings. This is going to make it so much less stressful. Thanks for taking the time to post. And thank you for NOT talking. So many videos waste time on unnecessary comments. You started pointing to 2 bolts and the writing on the screen said, “remove the two 10mm bolts as shown.” Can’t get any simpler. Thank you, sir!
Ive watched at least 10 videos of the process and this is by far the best (fastest and least hassel). One guy completely removed the bumper and grill from the truck, another was ripping out the airbox, another was trying to swap bulbs by reaching up from the wheel well, all took way longer or didnt have this level of access to the light. Kudos! This is favorited
Omg thank you so much for this video it was so helpful easy steps by steps just how you did it I just change the same head light from my Chevy Tahoe 2013 I can’t thank you enough I save me some money God bless you all your people doing videos like this 🙏
I totally agree with Midnight Sportster. I couldn’t believe some of these videos - how invasive and time consuming. This is by far the easiest method for accessing and removing the headlight assembly on my ‘13 Ava… STARS!
So I did this with my Tahoe, and for some reason it popped six of my fuses, and now I do not have left lights on my vehicle like my daytime running lights don’t work on both sides my rear driver tail light my third brake light no blinker only brights work
Ebay brotha.. I'm about to get some right now I wanted to see how they looked before I bought ..These are way better and newer style then the other ones I seen .. here is name on Ebay [LED SEQUENTIAL SIGNAL]FOR 07-14 TAHOE SUBURBAN 3D DRL+PROJECTOR HEADLIGHT LAMP
@@dnamotoring if they are regular bulbs why do they have that wire coming out of the backside? Are the bulbs replaceable with standard h1 bulbs? Are they LEDs?
If anyone is forming a firing squad to execute the brilliant engineers who designed this system that makes it such a major operation to change a headlight bulb, I'm volunteering to be on that squad. This is absurdly inconvenient! I now understand why there's no instruction in the owner's manual.
I'm with you. I think manufacturers purposely do this so that your average joe will take their vehicle in for anything and everything to be serviced. It's crazy how difficult it is to work on simple things on newer vehicles. So much unnecessary crap.
