Male, 62 and I know nothing about sewing except for some Arts and Crafts projects 50 years ago. Have hand sewed (badly) seams, buttons and really bad hole patches. What I would like to know is why did you sew the bottom part of the zipper in two parts? Would it not have been ok to run the stitches across the whole of the zipper instead of separating it? Apologies for the inane question but I have lots to learn. Thank you.
