How to install sump BMW E38 E39 740i 540i Lower oil pan M60 M62 M62TU lower sump installation 740il
In this video I will show you how I installed my freshly refurbished / restored lower sump

You can install the oil level sensor first then install the sump in place.
Avoid using impact tools when installing the bolts.
Start them off by hand and only after this you can use a power tool to help you speed up the process.
In this video I worked on my bmw e38 740i with the m62tu engine.
The procedure will be the same on BMW e31 e32 e34 e36 e38 e39 e46 e53 535i 735i and many more models including the Range Rover with the BMW 4.4 V8 engine
