My Friend Klara showed me this fabulicious technique for decorating a Charcuterie Platter. A Salami Rose, using only 11 slices of Salami, its an edible table decoration that is so clever and creative I simply had to share it. Thank you Klara for your friendship, inspiration and support. Klara is a fantastic cook, we joke that she can make a cardboard box look delicious but seriously her attention to detail and creative flair is stunning.
You can make this with other sorts of cold cut sliced pressed round meats. Smaller slices will need smaller glasses but we thought this was perfect for your Celebration Party or Christmas Drinks Platter.

Awww thank you Lucy, this girl is the friend I made on RU-vid . Started out just like you and I and we have since holidayed and travelled together . This video was filmed when she moved into her new home and we visited them. We always can find something to talk and chuckle about . They have 2 gorgeous dogs and they are very kind to animals and animal lovers like us, they love camping and the outdoors and some of my camping videos have been on trips with her. She’s very good at making campfires and cooking just about anything. We’ve had some great times together and I would never have met her without RU-vid so I have much to be grateful for.;-)) I hope your weekend is lovely and relaxing too.

Guns and Salami Roses... Marvelous! What a centrepiece for a ploughman's or a platter. You could pluck at it " he loves me, he loves me not. The colour of the salami and it's spots makes it very eye catching in detail. Well done to the creator of this 👍😀🤤

John you may have noticed some replies from Klara over the years. We met through my channel and caught up with her in Melbourne, back in 2015. Since then we have been on holidays with them several times and kept very much in touch. She and her other half are just the best company and we hold the record for the one phone conversation of more than 8 HOURS swapping ideas, life stories, jokes and of course so many food ideas and recipes. She is so easy to talk to and I feel like I've known her all my life. Sometimes I will be in the middle of sending her a text and she will ring me while I'm typing. Other times she and I will be cooking the same thing, states apart and at the same time without pre arranging it. She calls that a Woo Woo moment lol. I'm just glad we didn't live in Salem back in the day, or we would've both been BBQed STAKE. She is a great cook, a wonderful friend and I never tire of photographing meals she makes as everything always looks so stunning. Those pretty little skilled hands belong to her and I was thrilled to be able to present her Salami Rose for our viewers. I cant wait to show you the Charcuterie Platter she made for us, on a massive slab of Huon Pine she bought in Strachan in Tasmania. That is coming soon. Thanks Zendukai, no this was a cold platter after a swim in the pool. Later we did a wheel of King island Brie, slashed the top and drizzled it with home smoked Hervey Bay Honey with sprigs of rosemary, baked it until it was all gooey and melty and served it with seed crackers and crudités. It was absolutely splendid. My friend has a new Kamado Smoker and she has been making smoked ice cubes for drinks, smoked cheeses and all manner of amazing smoked meats. Meals are always exciting when she is cooking, as they are at your place, your Shelley makes a different scrumptious dish everyday. I got some new Soliteknics cookware and I am definitely trying her crispy loaded omelette in it. Can’t wait! Thanks for watching and the great feedback.;-))
