Today is “Take Two” of creating this tooled leather wallet. The first wallet was not a good fit. I needed to start over to make the wallet work correctly. The wallet has been delivered to my client and he is happy with the results.

Thanks Jonas. It was a great weekend. I love talking with everyone about not only my belts but just what makes a great belt. I did say goodbye to some really beautiful belts. I feel good about the new homes.

Big difference between the two wallets. The card holder peices reminded me of a roof cap where you cut the corners off. Beautiful work.

That’s a good point. I (re)learned a bunch on the project. The thing is to remember the lesson so I don’t make the same mistake. I always say that there are new mistakes out there, don’t make the same mistakes.

Good project, Robert. I like the idea of sealing the inside---I left the wallet I made some time ago unsealed and the bills do seem to stick going in and out. Definitely a worthwhile modification for any future wallets!

4min in you never mentioned card width, would you start there then add stich lines ;spaces

Yes thanks. That’s a good point. I will say that even then figuring the card size I have cut it to close. Just for reference it’s a standard credit card. I will try to give better information. I appreciate the feedback.
