This simple tutorial will demonstrate how easy it is to make fresh, unleavened bread [Matzah] for the Feast of Unleavened and/or Passover. Enjoy! Credit: Steve Owens
Hey there brother, most of us are not "Jewish " We observe the Messiah's passover as he did with the disciples. Look into it, great blessings for the followers of our Messiah.
Thank you Nelishia! I appreciate the feedback, I thought I might be the only one that enjoyed it; I'm glad that I'm in good company. Shalom and I pray that you are having a blessed time with your family during the Feast.
@@nelishiafagan2111 I'm happy to hear that you're having a blessed feast. Chag Sameach and may we be grateful as The Most High teaches us how to free ourselves from the bondage of spiritual slavery, as we draw closer to Him. And may the blood of the Lamb remind us, the sacrifice made on our behalf to bring us back into covenant relationship through His suffering on the Roman pagan cross of death, but Praise the Most High, His Son overcame death because death could not hold Him; therefore, if we accept and believe on His Son's Message and obey YHWH, we too will find LIFE in Elohim. Blessings be upon you and to your family b'Shem Yeshua The Messiah of Yisrael and the Lamb of Elohim!
Just tested this recipe, as I make for family and friends for Passover. Wonderful, fun, and easy! Thank you for sharing and giving the steps and tips. Shalom!
This video continues to be so useful every year and I keep coming back. May YAH richly bless you and I wish you a happy and blessed Passover in Yeshua's Mighty Name!
Thank you so much for this! Praise Yah I hardly had to search for a recipe...My oven is broke and last year my first batch ever came out stuck to the cookie sheet We had plenty and it was really tasty but always a new year to try again! Blessing and Shalom! Happy Passover and Feast of Unleavened Bread everyone!!
Halleluya! Sooo great you blessed Yeshua the Only Begotten Son Of YHWH! I am blessed! Oh! And thank you for great demo on Unleavened bread! Shalom to us only in Christ Yeshua
I love it . This Is the best way I ever see anyone explain it . Now I can make this bread I wanted to make for so long. Thanks a lot .May God continue to bless you .
I've been making roti and chapati for the feast of unleavened bread the last 2 years, big improvement over cookie sheet and oven type unleavened breads. I use them like tortillas or wraps.
I make this every day. Easy and tasty with food. Save on buying bread too without chemicals! Naan, Chipate, Roti. All the same thing. Pan bread is awesome. I look forward to it. These look fantastic! Good job. 🙋🏻♀️💋🥰🇨🇦👍💖🌺
The salt assists in killing any natural yeast that may be in the flour. Salt kills and sugar feeds yeast. But yes you must act quickly to prevent natural leavening and rising.
May I ask what GF flour you used and how it came out? I just made some and they did not brown at all. Still going to try to eat them. 😂 I am having trouble with GF cooking.
Yeah, it's really is. The first time can be slightly challenging since you're trying to get the right consistency in the flour but once you know, it's a piece of cake! Praise Yeshua our King!
Those who are faithful and have understanding will add olive oil, those who don't won't. Blessings be upon you! Plus, the olive oil must be set-apart and not common olive oil.
Was thinking I could bake this instead of using a nonstick pan? also if one pricks the flatbread before cooking it that would keep it flat if i bake it? so i dont have to pull it out n flatten it several times. interesting disco shirt! i like the shofar sounding!! good camera work also.
Thanks for the easy recipe. I'm looking for different ones to try this week for Feast of Unleavened Bread. Better than buying matza from the store. Funny how Passover is observed on different dates by some. Yahweh bless you.
@Geezerman hey brother, I know you. I hate boxed matzo, I'd prefer to eat the box I think. When I read how our patriarchs prepared breads, this type is what mainly comes to my mind. See you sabbath in chat. John.
Shalom! Yes it can; however, it tends the change the flavor and texture so much that most people, prefer not the taste. Some people will do a 50/50 of each. It really depends on your taste buds. You can always try a small batch of whole wheat a see if you like it or not. Blessings be upon you!
Here in Uganda they make this all the time for a regular meal. Only they add onion. But thanks for the video I was wondering if it was similar to what we make here. God bless
Don’t pat the raw side. Place on griddle. Call it side one. Cook till it starts to cook little. Flip over to side two. Cook for few seconds. Flip back on side one. Now gently press it with ladle or rolled up tea towel. It will puff up like a ball. Cooked right through. It’s our staple diet in India.
I was looking for a recipe for unleavened bread and this is perfect. So easy and with only 3 ingredients!! It will try it tomorrow. I was wondering if I can use Teff flour, almond flour or any other flour? will it have the same effect? Thank you for sharing.
You give details, you tell what kind of flour to use. It takes a good teacher that tells details to make good Unleavened Bread. This is my 1st time to try to make it, I don’t know anyone whom makes it. I am alone. I’ve been so stressed out before I found your video because the other video doesn’t tell details like you do and they say “add more water as needed” , I thought what? More water? how much? I wondered for why. Thank You for posting your video! Shalom
@@Lauren-vd4qe Thank You for your advice. I am alone but I can’t find a church that keeps The Commanded HOLY Days, the church teaches holidays and the feasts that THE FATHER YHVH hates. I can’t find a group that obeys THE WHOLE HOLY WORD, instead of just 10 commandments. Thanks again!
Shalom! It comes out similar to the size of 12 inch Mexican tortillas that you buy from the grocery store. The same thing happened to me, when I didn't roll it out enough in order for it to be very thin. Also, maybe the size of the dough balls are too big, try smaller and see what happens. Have a blessed feast!
Maybe can try dabbing a clean but damp cloth over the bread everytime the air pockets start to raise up, the Indians do that when they cook the chapathi and the bread turns out soft and fluffy.
Shalom, You can add them at any time. Sometimes it's better to afterwards at one's table, if you have children, so they can be involved without being in the kitchen and possibly be in the way if doing a large batch.
