Sometimes you just need to indulge a little. While I try to avoid eating fried foods too often, some dishes are just too tasty to avoid completely and Honey Walnut Shrimp is one of them.
I first had this dish at a Dim Sum restaurant with friends. It wasn't
a dish that I would have had as a child because my parents just never ordered anything like this. But, I left that restaurant craving shrimp prepared like this for a long time. Something about the sweet, tangy, creamy sauce and the crispness of the shrimp and crunchiness of the walnuts just made me want more!
This is a relatively easy dish to whip up. It does however, in my opinion, look and taste way more fancy so you can take the credit for making this impressive dish! Skip the take out or the expensive prices from a fancy Chinese restaurant and make this in your own kitchen!
I like to use organic ingredients whenever possible, HOIA recipes are not only clean, but also delicious. I hope you enjoy this video! HOIA!!!
