If you love horchata!!! Do the same recipe, except do half heavy and half coconut milk, then add about 1/2 teaspoon of powdered cinnamon, steam the creamer. Trust me me I own a third wave coffee shop, and it's our most popular drink, expect we use espresso and make a latte out if it using Demerara sugar.

I think they use imitation vanilla and that requires more than if it was pure vanilla extract.

@@jamie5mauser Personally, I just use heavy whipping cream in my coffee. I gave up the sweetener. I did use it in the beginning but I have been doing it for 4 years so I have no need for sweets any more

A mason jar will NOT explode when you put the lid on when hot. That's how you can food, put the lid on (a hot lid works best) and screw the top on finger tight. It'll seal. It will not explode. I love this recipe! I'm going to make some tonight. Much easier than putting in 3 things in my coffee each morning, I'll just have 1 thing to add.

I use cream & Jordon’s syrups......but I will definitely try this for sure. I use to drink black for years but within the last 10 years my sister n law got me started on the hazelnut coffee mate. Then keto....I went straight for the cream. That is my most favorite time on keto is my coffee! Probably too much coffee, but that is my only vise now.....thanks!

Hi there, great video. When canning, you do fill mason jars with hot liquid. They should not crack. And you put the tops on hot. The trapped air expands when hot then the air cools and the tops kind of pop down. That's an indicator that the jar is sealed. But you don't really need a good seal for the creamer. Just keep it in the refrigerator. There is a lot more to canning with jar sterilization and water baths. A lot of work.

Or....keep it simple and just add a splash of heavy cream, a few drops of extract flavor of your choice & a few drops of liquid monk fruit or Stevia directly to your cup of coffee and avoid the unnecessary cooking/mixing on the stovetop, bam, same result!!

Just made this and its PERFECT! I only used 1tsp vanilla (not 50) and didn't have Stevia so I subbed 1tsp monkfruit but it's just amazing!! Thank you for making my morning coffee more of a threat to my calorie budget 🥰

Matt, walmart sells the plastic lids for Mason jars and that way u CAN put lid on while still hot. I do it all the time to store my cold brewed coffee while still hot. Thanks for another great recipe. 😉

I use half a cup of heavy cream and half a cup of coconut milk(sugar free 1 carb per cup) so far it tastes pretty good, I didn't care for pure heavy cream and I hate just plain coconut milk because its not creamy

I prefer to use organic liquid Monk Fruit extract for sweetener as it has a much more natural flavor. Give that a shot and see what you think.

Cant' do all that cream, but just found a keto creamer brand called Piknic. It's unsweetened creamer made with grass-fed butter, mct oil, and grass-fed whey. Added liquide monk fruit and some vanilla extract to the container, and it's the BEST tasting creamer I've ever tried (and I've tried them all!). I'm hoping this will be less inflammatory than cream.

My store is out of the organic heavy cream that has no additives and gums that flair up my gut lining. I used Stevia and powdered MCT from coconuts since I can’t find healthy heavy cream. Coconut milk is a high FODMAP that also rips my gut lining. I love the MCT powder cuz you can travel with it. I also can’t have the flavors cuz of the additives. It sucks to have to be so cautious of gut lining issues. I can’t even have vanilla unless it’s scraped from the bean (or a non alcohol version) some of us autoimmune people can barley eat anything without disrupting gut lining.

I would think blending in 2-3 T of cacao powder with a stick blender while heating and 1 tsp peppermint extract at the end (a real tsp, not a Matt tsp😄😄)
