Very common shaped pot support for alcohol stove. Bending size depends on your stove and pot. BGM: Artist : Mist Blue Music : Realism www.hurtrecord.com/ www.hurtrecord.com/music/17/re...
Very Good! I would to make a slim stand as this but for some reason all the home centers here in Fukuoka don't sell thin stainless steel rods, the thinest I can find is 5mm in diameter. Great instructional video. I like the aluminum pieces.
Tetkoba-san I've been watching all of your videos and found them extremely interesting and educative. I've noticed your pot support designs and in your videos and was about to ask if would be possible for you to make a how-to for that. Good thing that you read my mind. Great work. Please keep it up!
Tetkoba, what is the recommended distance between the top of the stove and the bottom of the pot? I would guess it depends on the stove, but I'm not sure how I determine this. Based on what I see in your videos, I think I've been using a pot stand that's too low, so I'd be interested in knowing how the height affects boiling time. Thanks!
Thanks comment. I own adjustable pot support like following; tetk.seesaa.net/article/157116004.html I determine best distance by test with the adjustable pot support. The easiest way is; Find distance that shown max bubbles by boiling-pot. Hope this helps.
Thanks for this video. I'm going to make this one. One questions. In the video, the stainless wire is 2mm in diameter. And the wire rope aluminum sleeve, for bounding two legs together, has internal diameter in 2mm. From the video, it seems that the aluminum tube has bigger internal diameter than 2mm. Maybe it's a typo?
+Jason Wong Though titanium has a high burning point, but when it does, it is very much hard to put it out. If you douse it with water, or even CO2 fire extinguisher, you are just feeding it oxygen for a brighter fire. That makes it very hard to put it out. Maybe if you pour sand over it to kill the flames, but be careful afterwards because high heat turns sand into glass that may cut you up.
how frikkin stupid........... all you gotta do is set 2 metal "coat hanger thin" tent stakes across a couple rocks or even the logs themselves..... I know of many other ways to use my time than something such as this. to each his own though I guess......... just sayin
