I’m happy I found your channel. I’ve had mild emphysema/Copd for awhile with no real symptoms, but have a lung nodule that needs surgery and seems in the last few months my breathing has got worse. I had a chest x-ray today in preparation for surgery and it showed my lungs are hyperventilated. Have never heard of this before but I have pain when I breath deep on my right side(where the surgery will be). Will breathing exercises make the hyperventilation worse? I’m so worried about all this, I look forward to exploring your channel
Yes! They are probably referring to extra air being retained in your lungs. Pursed lip breathing is designed specifically for that. Also, it helps to breathe out for twice as long as you breathe in. Thanks for your input and I hope the videos help!🫁💗
