I started my RU-vid channel to speak my truth and to help people spark their consciousness. My brother shared my channel information with my toxic family members. Now I feel fear to speak out about issues that had affected me from childhood. I'm doing my best to overcome. Thank you for this video! Extra Words - And when you have an opportunity to do something amazing, even if it's not what you want to seek give it a try and have fun doing it because you will learn a great deal about what you want to do in life. Because doing what you are not sure of doing allows you to get closer to whatever it is that your heart truly longs for. Be open to trying new things and you will have less and I hope no regrets in life.

It is crazy how much my mindset has changed ever since i found your channel. I am also at the point of my life where I simply Love being on my own, I am isolated from the world and they probably do think I'm crazy or depressed but I am HAPPY, I am at peace.I deleted all my social media because I was constantly comparing myself to everyone I would see and feel left out, not good enough. "A seed is planted in the dark" is so profound. Been working hard for the past 6 years and the journey has been such a challenge. Horrible bosses, plenty of setbacks, rejections, snubs the list is long but we keep moving. I keep nurturing my gifts. Each challenge has groomed me. Started a RU-vid channel this year, and I've been avoiding it. I didn't want to be on camera either, but I just decided to jump in this year. It's a small channel but I'm enjoying the processes and the creative outlet.

I’m gonna get into action. My family has harshly judged and determined my first steps for too long. Even now as I’m approaching one the first big ages, I find myself still waiting for their approval. My friends are supportive but i ultimately have ended up changing my trajectory to try to please the family. I’ve already stopped attending church and I doubt I’ll be voting like they say I should. My depression and anxiety are the products of not feeling free to express myself. Now, I just have to be mindful that nobody knows what I have growing inside of me. I’m gonna keep creating with music!! (I have so many ideas guys … IM SO EXCITED!!!)

Hi Hindz, I know that this video is pretty old and you might never see this, but I just wanted to thank you. You became a light and a guide in my life when I was at one of my lowest moments. And listening to your wisdom was one of the only things that brought me comfort. I am in a much better place now and I know a big reason for that is you being yourself and expressing - so really, thank you so much. I needed this word today. I have struggled with self acceptance and expression for a good portion of my young adult life. I've always just wanted to fit in, as many of us are conditioned to do in this society. However, i've recently been thrust into a period of isolation where i've finally had the opportunity to look at myself without any outside influence, and what i've discovered that I like it a lot better than who I was pretending to be :)

I'm currently in treatment and one of the difficult things I struggle with during groups is speaking during AA or any other group that is held. Participating in the discussions that are held is what's difficult for me because I fear that people will judge what I have to say. But now I understand that people are going to judge or ridicule no matter what. You're completely right, as part of my healing journey I will no longer fear whay people think as long as I'm leading with love. I will start to participate in group discussions from now on because I know for myself that my heart is in the right place. Thank you for this! I will no longer struggle with social anxiety. :)

Really really needed this, especially when those opinionated words are come from the family, when you grew up a certain way and your heads filled with judgement there's no such thing as being optimistic. I have been in the dumps for a while and have been hating & avoiding a picture my mom took of me when I was 9 because my face had so much confidence, hope and joy. 9 yr old me didn’t know that in 19yrs I wouldn’t have as much hope in my future as I did. 9 yr old me didn’t know that things would go south and I’d be a shadow mixed in a ball of anxiety, self doubt and shame. That I’d allow people to dictate my future and self worth. But whiles listening to this video, I looked at that picture and I realized 9 yr old me doesn’t deserve this, she’s too strong to succumb to the pressures of my now, she’d be so curious to see how I overcame to be the best version of my self and I’d be doing her a huge injustice to not craft my own identity and rediscover who I am. Seriously I’ve started to love that picture.

Duuuude, I've been struggling with working in corporate America and my peers have been judging me as if something is wrong with me. I know I don't flourish in corporate settings and refuse to assimilate because the juice isn't worth the squeeze. I would rather spend my time in a way that serves myself and those I love much more. I'm in the planning stages of starting my own design business. Lots of meditation, journaling and organizing my thoughts. The encouragement is always appreciated. YOU ARE A HERO ❤

I did all the "right" things; school, bachelor, masters... but I didn't feel fulfilled. In silence, I took a course in creative writing, at the same time I started becoming a personal trainer. It was where my heart was all along... Yes, I've been judged, I still am, but focusing on the negativity can blow out the fire of passion unless I'm mindful. Thanks for the reminder! ❤

I have two degrees and I am just not sure what to do with them. I am an adult mental health therapist and it is hard AF. My main problem is that I get in my own way. I'm such a perfectionist, my fear of creating stems from not satisfying my inner critic to the point where I'd rather create nothing than create something that isn't up to my own standards. I’ve all my life been programmed with such a deep fear of being myself til I completely buried myself. I’ve always loved myself I couldn’t understand why I’m not accepted. I’m applying to college a semester late to focus on my small business before going to school for psychology (which I love!) but I also love this little business and would love to support myself that way. But my grandma called me the other day and gave me a very discouraging lecture about how it seems as though I am doing nothing and I’ll end up a “loser” this video came in perfect timing. This goes well with overthinking. I overthink a lot about being my true self because of what the next person may think/or perceive me. I need this the most. I usually think about what people would say instead of minding my own and doing what I need to do. Whether I want red but people want blue, I go for whatever I want as long as it Is good. There’s no joy in settling for others judgments if they can’t save themselves. And you know what, none of us can judge ourselves when we’re buried six fit under. This is what I believe. I GOT A STORY TO TELL 🏁

I have started to realize that in my life, there is always something/someone I am worrying about. I always allow one situation or person to be this daunting elephant in my mind. It's like my mind is looking for someone to be the elephant that's judging me. I'm beginning to feel sick of it, and I am trying to change my thoughts so that way I can live a happy life.

My journey has been that I'm the first to change in my family. I'm met with heavy judgement from my family, only for them to make the same exact change 2 or 3 years later. I don't force my ideals on them, I don't say, they should because I do. I just make the change to my life. It's incredibly annoying.

I started an Instagram for my poetry and art a while ago and just stopped because I was scared to let people see what I wrote and painted. But you are so right! Let them judge because they don’t know where my heart is. It helps me to write and it helps me to paint so why should I not do that because others decide it’s “different”. I left my job in October 2019 due to grief, depression and anxiety. I had lost 9 family members in 5 years and I was overwhelmed with everything. I started watching your channel back then, and I wanted to start my youtube channel, so I took a chance and started. In May of this year 2022, I sold my house, gave away, donated or sold all of my things. I built a camper in my Honda Element and moved into it, so that I could live my best life out of it. Today, October 22, 2022, I am on the road to Mexico & South America to go and explore new places and people. My RU-vid channel is paying for this journey. Thank you Hindz for standing tall in the light when my life felt dark. Cheers!
