Been using him lately, he’s a beast on Manifest map and his grapple can get you to the top of D on Kaleidoscope to take out snipers

Mckay is the best.. I Spiderman my ass all these maps lol. I love parachuting down and shooting my grapple at the tank turret and blowing it up with c5.

I think its worth noting that your aim, screen-center, is swung slightly towards the grapple point during grappling travel

My favorite specialist because of the strafe speed !! Grappling hook is also good to get in some cheeky spots 👀👀and rain hell on the enemies. However, I don't play him every game since it feels weird going back to any other specialist because of the slow strafe speed.

If smoke is rendered as smth mackay can usr his grappling hook on, how does bullets deal with smoke? In BFv it used to distort bullets, how’s it going in 2042?

They have to need mackays nimble trait. Strafe speed in an FPS is very powerful especially when no other characters can have it

I don't understand why they say he is the best spec. Sundance is way better, he moves little bit better that's it, like you shoot from pretty far away anyway bc of the big maps and when you fire close up you hipfire anyway so yeah. A Hook? Really. She has much more stuff to kill with plus she can move way faster through the map and that is what the game is most for, big damn maps so she is the number 1 spec for me, most logic choice not even close but if it was like small maps like in COD his movement speed would come off alot better.
