@gerithem No, the oils are painted "wet on wet", so every color can be blended into the others.

Yes, it is not sealed at all. Oils don't paint very well over sealer, so only seal if you absolutely have to until it is finished.

I use the artist quality Winsor & Netwon, Grumbacher and Daniel Smith paints. For starters student grade paints are just fine though!

Yes, he's going to cost a lot more than $200. But that's exactly why I do these videos - so that people can learn to do it for themselves! I started because I could not afford to buy what I wanted. :-)

You are so talented, I am very impressed. Do you ever work with water-mixable oils? I tend to like those better because of the simple clean-up, but I don't know if the mediums you use would be compatible. Thanks for sharing this!

did you cust the original Keltic Salinero model? it is wonderful!

After you put on the thin layer of black in the begging of the video do you let it dry completely before going to the grey mixture? Same with going from the grey to white?

did you sculpt keltic yourself? cos i've seen the tail sculpting video quite a lot

I tried oils once - it sooooo didn't turn out well!!! haha But I had no idea what I was doing, didnt even have the right colours I dont think! :p
