ok thanks great video loved it going to buy that helmet as well btw I own a g&g cm16 and no mid caps seem to feed with it except pts midcaps but they are 25$ is there any other mid caps that feed well with g&g guns that are cheap

classic army is spot on quality for the best price period in my opinion. Their delta 10 and 12 both come standard with a tightbore and the Delta series feeds 10 magazine brands basically the most popular ones

Does the spray paint at all ruin the velcro? I have an all black helmet that I want to paint. Base color OD green (matte) - velcro coyote brown, gonna order new velcro pads for that, side rails and nvg mount would be matte grey and I have tan hearing protection. The colors were to overall fit my field and match the rest of my kit. I also plan to change the color of my straps to brown like the velcro but keep the adjustment pieces black. I have the same strap system as you do. Main issue here is the mixed answers online about spray painting velcro. Specifically the loop side thats on helmets.

If you just need the velcro for patch then it doesnt matter, go ahead. Afterall its easy to replace the velcro if everything just go wrong

for filming this video I used a Canon 5D MK III. The headcam for the gameplay videos is a GoPro Hero 3+. Hope that helps!

Hey Pheonix! I wanted to ask, if i paint my Airframe with spray paint and put velcro afterwards will the paint peel off? Since im making an similar setup with your airframe exept in tan and black. And im kind of scared that my velcro wont stick properly and the paint will get ruined.

Hey Richie, well I would just paint the helmet with the velcro attached. If you head over to my Instagram, you can see in the story highlights how I did it. If you want you can tape off the velcro "to protect it" from paint. Hope that helps! Let me know!

I was thinking about doing an airframe in tan/black as well lol, but to answer your question i would probably keep the velcro on unless the helmet comes with none. It should come with velcro already on, but if it doesn’t i’m not exactly sure how you would go about that. Maybe tape over the spots where you’d put down velcro?

hey richie, you are completely right! I slapped the velcro on after painting. I forgot about that! It was no problem at all and it still works perfectly. You will have no problem doing either! Just do it :) You cant to it wrong
