Do you coat manifolds first then have milled or milled first then coated. I would be afraid the clamps to hold it down on the mill would mess up the coating.

Help please, where can I get about 6" long, 2" to 2 1/4" ID downpipes that fit these stock manifolds? Passenger side is straight back like the one you show here, drivers side points down at 45 degree angle. Studs are 3" center with donut gasket. The only ones I can find have a cone shape or bubble ends, speedway, summit, jegs ect. Seen perfect ones on eBay from the-muffler-shop that have an inside sleeve that holds the donut gasket but the bolt patterns they have are not 3" on center, they will not respond to my question. Building a 1940 Ford pickup with a 1969 302 and room is limited on passenger side due to frame, cab, starter. Curved ones would work also. Local muffler shop here is no help. Thank you

Do you recommend putting the heatshields (for 65-66) back on the engine mounts? I'm switching to headers and imagine it might help protect the rubber in the mount a little.

I have a ‘66 coupe, I had the rear floor pans repaired (many years ago) and have found that the rear outboard seatbelt mounting points were not re-installed. Should they be placed on the same plane (level line) as the in board ones? Thank you for any info you could give me.

Would you recommend using gaskets if your not have the surface of the manifolds planed?
