I’m going re-stain my deck but can’t I just use a power washer to get the small layer of mold off and then stain it? Do I absolutely have to send it too?
No, absolutely not. If it’s in decent condition you don’t have to sand first. It’s important to keep a good layer of stain or oil sealant on it, no matter what level of effort you feel like putting into it! It’ll look nicer no matter what you put on it and will protect it from the elements. 👍🏻
