EXTREMELY helpful, clear, and concise - thank you very much. After watching your video, I was able to remove my kitchen sink without mishap in about ten minutes. I had never removed a sink until today.
@@chrissy1310 a year off from you and I just removed my sink for a deep clean and added a new faucet for the first time, I've been bragging to everyone that will listen lol, even showed my cat but he wasn't too impressed.
"McGiver it". Some people may not get the reference but I loved it. Nice steady camera work by the way. Most easy to follow. Excellent instructional video. Thanks
Thank you so much this has helped me so much I am alone and a widow and I want to try to do things on my own because everything is too expensive thank you for all your help for keeping it simple
I'm going to tackle my sink today, it's all rotten under the faucet so it won't stay tight. This guy's videos are the best on RU-vid. Totally down to earth and detailed for a layman like myself to understand. I've done other house projects in here all thanks to this channel. The best!
First time viewer of your channel on U-tube. How to install kitchen sink. Excellent job! Very helpful having cabinets removed and no doubt what you were doing. I subscribed. Thanks again!
Such a help! Lots of the other videos skip the steps about clamps and what the parts are and how they function. It’s helps to under stand so I can translate it to what the previous owners did with the sink in my house. Thru installed the faucet before dropping the sink in so the faucet fasteners are now blocked by the countertop, so my easy facet switch now involves getting the sink out first. Thank you for the great detailed instruction!
It's hard to get a plumber these days. The good ones are very much sought after and hence hard to get. I would like my kitchen sink and faucet replaced. I was told it will not be easy. After watching your video I think I could try to do it myself. 😅 I took note of the tools you used. 🎉Thank you.
Thanks. Your demonstration is perfect. Now i have more confidence. I had forgotten that the front panel on the sink cabinet comes off as if the old fully rusted sink mounting screws weren't bad enough. Cheap. The new sink has brass mounting screws. Can't wait to get that awful old sink out.
Hi Shannon: I watched your video to remove kitchen sink, and am impressed with your technical knowhow as well as the way you explain the process. I have, therefore, subscribed and will watch your instructional videos. Please keep up the good work, and thanks a lot for sharing your knowledge with non-technical people like myself.
Two thumbs up...Thanks for getting straight to the point and leaving the add on info at the end. I'm pretty confident I will be able to remove my sink and have the plumber for installation.
Clear, straight-forward and concise. Thanks for taking the time to make and post your helpful video. Liked the no-bucket move with the leaking stainless braided tubing. The only recommendation: edit out the non-visible loosening and tightening (faucet fixtures). Good camera work and audio! Thanks again from Okinawa, Japan.
Thanks very much! Thanks to this video I've confirmed that I'm on the right track and am sure I'll be able to finish the job when I go back onsite tomorrow. Appreciate you taking the time and explaining so clearly (ex about the clamps). Great stuff. Cheers!
This video was super helpful when I was taking apart my kitchen sink. I did run into one problem though. You said most sinks only have no more than 5 clamps. Of course mine had TEN!
"Gonna have to MacGyver it off" I'm subscribing because of that. Seriously. :D Also, I miss hearing the Canadian accents from our family camping trips to the 1000 Islands!
I'm so happy I found this video! All of my questions were answered, and I feel so much more confident about doing this now 🙌🏾 definitely a new subscriber!
I'd guess because of his surprise about the silicon under the rim. It's pretty standard practice to seal your sink with silicon and most sink instructions state for you to do it. Whoever installed mine was a dick and used grout to seal it, gotta figure out how to get that seal broken.
In my instructions for my new Kohler sink it says to "apply a bead of silicone sealant around the underside of the sink rim" What do you suggest I use as you seemed surprised about the silicone on this one. Thanks again, all your videos are a great help!
My idiot cousin dud just that! Took me a ridiculous amount of time, then a grown man another few hours! I've never had my back hurt so much. I'm leaving him out of my will as well speak for that one... He did that with a sprayer. It still leaks, which is why we wanted it OUT. Fused to the sink!
I have clamps much higher up and the screws are headless. The reason I was watching this video is because when I looked in my sink cabinet I could not see the screw driver slots on the ends of the screws and I was very confused as to how to get the screws out. I got in there with a flashlight and glasses and could see them. didn't actually need the glasses but the flashlight worked. If I could share pictures in comments here, I would for anyone else who has a sink like mine.
