How to repair a Nintendo DS Lite NDSL Bottom Screen 2

As a complete novice when it comes to fixing tech managed to replace the screen with no problem. Just have to be careful peeling off the touch screen. Really helpful vid

good video...I think I can do it now. I used to work in a repair shop for vcr's etc. those drove me crazy...sometimes a gear would break and you had to replace it. then all the gears had to be properly aligned.

looks easy the way you are able to do it just ordered my screen so will be watching it while doing it hope is goes as smooth as that thanks

That video was awesome, I was able to fix it. Thank you. Now there is a small blue pixel on my new screen it might be from the installation, maybe something got in between those two screens. I will fix it later.

Great, easy to folllow. I have fingerprints in between but oh well. It still works great. No more scratched up screen.

thanks very much.brilliant instructions.want a laugh at my expense??well,i just finished putting my sons DS back together,just about to throw the old scratched screen and guess what I notice???yup,its still got the plastic protective cover on it and that was scratched.and My son bought the DS cheap cos of the scratched screen :P.Never mind,it was a fun experience to say the least

@Lorali51900 It means you plugged the screen ribbon cable incorrectly into the motherboard. Try this tutorial again :)

@MrFcuku2 You plugged the small touch-screen ribbon cable incorrectly into the motherboard, maybe doing this tutorial again would help? :)

I think my black wire is broken, is there any way to replace it?

This is hard to watch, due to the inconsistent camera zooming, and going out of focus. Other than that thumbs up for this video.
