I used this video to switch out screens between a broken DS of mine that had a bad screen, and a good DS with a bad screen. Worked awesome!

@Guitarist500 dude this doesnt show people how to repair the bottom screen, it only shows how to replace the bottom screen. rename your title.

That small ribbon cable is the bane of my existence. Trying to reattach it is a nightmare. Any tips? Pretty sure thats why my ds lite instantly shuts back down

I replaced the screen, now it shuts off after I power it on. Nothing was wrong with before except that the bottom screen was cracked... Help?

my new replacement lcd screen has the ribbon on the top left hand side. The old one has the ribbon cable on the top right hand side. What do I do now?

I think I only need to replace the top part of the bottom screen (does that make sense?) someone said there's a touch bit on top of the actual screen? Basically the ds has been pressed on too hard and the screen is now stuck pressing down so I need to replace it?
