@@natural_lifter yea! You need to open it from the opposite side ... it is not possible from the front. But I do not advise you to do this ... I opened it, discovered other problems (besides the fungi) and I was unable to mount it back ... As it was already damaged and it would be expensive to fix, I was not harmed, but if yours if you have only fungi, take it to a specialist, do not open it on your own. These lenses are assembled with precision tools and not everyone can open them.

@@natural_lifter You're welcome. They did it just to make life more difficult and make us spend more. My yongnuo lenses I open and clean myself, but Nikon can't ... The price of the 55 300mm in Brazil rose 250% in two years, I had to buy a used one ... Good luck
