Just to let the ones that are not familiar with the Ford vacuum assisted locking hubs know what the vacuum is for, its the vacuum that actuates the locking hub from a switch inside the cab.

Warning: Great video, but dont start on this job, if you not have the special tool to install the axel seal, to the knuckle again. Happens to me 2 years ago. I was stuck for many days. Look the other videos they have, for axle seal replacement. Then you understand. 😊

My upper came with a snap ring, but the one I replaced didn’t have one, do I need to use it?

What did you use to paint the knuckle with? Krylon?

How much resistance turning the knuckle by hand after installing the new ball joints? I installed moog on mine and now my truck drives like crap. And is very dangerous to drive. I removed the knuckle on the left and right side and went through the torque process all over again and it still is dangerous to drive.

Wtf I just broke 2 breaker bars trying to get the top nut off 😆
