#changedriveshaft #changecvaxle #changecvjoint Changing my Astra H front driveshaft. The inner CV joint has little wobbling in it, so i decided to change the whole shaft. In the video I used my brand new Parkside Impact Wrench.
Very common on that shaft, causes vibration especially through the steering wheel when going fast, all the diesel and petrol models that have that half shaft set up I've noticed do it. That's the best grease to put on the shaft. Makes your shaft end last longer in that half shaft end.
You may have jusr solved my problem 😂after balancing 5times and wheel alighnment the vibration will not go away and today i noticed the rubber on my cv is split so think it maybe tike to switch the shaft
So, if you have a bad internal bearings whole axle needs to be changed or? I have a problem with vibrations around 20-30 km/h, and my friend and me checked axles yesterday. It turns out that both axle internal bearings are bad, so I will change that soon, but I was wondering if picking up a whole new axle is needed, or just internal part with three bearings inside. And yeah, car is Astra J GTC 1.7 cdti.
I'm stuck trying to pull.out driveshaft 2014 Vauxhall insignia 2.0 cdti, I took out 3 bolts but it's stuck solid it's not loose how to remove ?? Please help asap
@@icku Done it now thanks, a friend tapped it out took no more than a minute or so. Now it's all together the abs light is on and ESC light, any ideas why ? Thanks
@@icku I had my wheels balanced multiple times, one mechanic told me it's the steering rack, another that it's the shock absorber another that it's the brake disk and it is getting annoying. Now the question is which axle ? Left or right ? How can I determine that. The whole car wobbles and trembles I do t feel it from left or right to know.
So you paid all that money for a refurbished driveshaft for a split cv boot. That cv boot is around €10 and a half hours work to take old of and refit 😂
