Thank you for an easy to understand video. From a beginner's perspective, it was just what I needed. I felt like I was with a friend who was taking time to explain things to me so I would have the best experience.
Hey there. Thank you so much for the info. Best video out there not to mention camera quality. Youve cover lots of small but important info. Ill get my dirt bike now because of you. Thanks.
Hey man! I really like your videos. I never have a clutch bike before and thinking of getting one and you video really help. Thank you so much brother!
Hey Jim, Im Kenny from Zambia, Great Video, I'm starting to ride for the first time this weekend and after watching your video I feel like I'm ready. Keep up the great work. Thanks
Thanks man, you really explained the clutch wel! That 1/3 power thing helped a lot to understand the level of power you need. No one rly explains that well.
if ur going to buy one soon I would reccomend getting a kawasaki because they are good begginer bikes and are good for learning the clutch, they have a good amount of power but not too much to where you are lopping out all the time.
Thanks for this detailed video. I'm a beginner and didn't know about using my knees to push the bike left to right, seems much safer to get around a 'sudden rock' on the path. I just don't know how to use the back brake while standing on pegs...seems impossible. I suppose I could shift down without the clutch to slow down and not lose control going downhill on a riverbed.
nice vid! i ride a little different but I tried this way and is works well too! with the braking tho using the front brake works better, if ur going fast using the back brake will lock up your back tire and you will just skid, use the front going downhill too. also I usually ride (mostly) the whole time standing
Thank you for this helpful video congrats you just won a subscriber I took a look at your chanel and I saw that you aren't posted for 5 years so you probably are not going to read this comment but I hope you do... Please make more videos like this you are going to make it I believe in you!
If you are going into a tricky area stand on the pegs put your head over the handlebars then x scoot your butt back it will give you more control going through a ditch with mud in it or going over logs do the same but pull the clutch in keep on the throttle an when you hit it let go of the clutch fast and give it more gas to wheelie right over the log.
Fuch - you never, never, NEVER stomp on a gear lever. Move the bike slightly (and therefor the gear box) and push on the lever. There are splines, cam plates, cam pins, selector forks and all sorts of things that can be bent, broken and stuffed with between your clod hoppers and the gears.
If you were to buy a dirt bike from a pawn shop would it be a ok buy as in legal. Iv heard stolen stuff gets sold their but does the same apply to dirt bikes.
I’m two years later cause I’m just getting a DirtBike but when you ride do you use the clutch to speed up or just move the throttle to speed up? Because I’ve seen people who ride pull the throttle down and make that “Vrmvrmvrmvrm” sound and not speed up?
