“I don’t think we need to spend a crazy amount of time on this one”….. ummmmm what you said about spiritual boundaries set me SO FREE from how I didn’t realize I was majorly crossing spiritual boundaires. TALK MORE! Thank you!

Hi guys, you made some really good points! What I strongly disagree with is sharing your testimony on the first date or on a dating app. It's one of the first things that I ask a guy even on a dating app. Because first I need to make sure they are born again!!! It's super naive to think that everyone who goes to church or marks themselves as a Christian on a dating app is a real follower of Christ and is born again. So what they say as their coming to Christ story is very important. If you want to waste time and go on dates with those who only seem as Christians or you don't really care that much then go ahead and don't ask them...Plus our testimony is about God and His redemptive power in our lives that we should be able to share with any stranger we meet. It's not a super intimate story we should keep for ourselves and share only with those we know well.

I love the video version!! Keep recording it both ways. Thank you both for all your wonderful advice. And thank you telling us that even though you are getting married you will still continue helping singles. That just blesses my heart. Blessings to you and your engagement and marriage.

Thank you so much! For that day count of 60-90 days. I've learned to get to know people over time, and it's great to hear this. I also agree on not many texts on authentic answers.

This was so good! I so agree with pretty much everything. It is always hard for me to understand how couples can know so quickly even within 6 months that they want to marry someone. Even when my friend got engaged at 6 months and then married 6 months later, I couldn’t wrap my brain around it and thought it was fast. It seemed to have worked for them and I understand every couple is different but I think it’s good to take your time and really know someone and not even rush being boyfriend and girlfriend so quickly. I’ll definitely share this episode with people.

The 90 days was also interesting since I kind of wanted to do that but thought that maybe that was too long and maybe just take 30-60 days. But that is true with giving it 90 days so it’s easier to see more clearly any red flags that come up.

Am I right in thinking you two spoke online for a while before meeting for a first date? Can I ask what did you discuss before meeting and then on first date to still have fun but not let a conversation getting dry. Really interesting as in the past I’ve definitely over shared and jumped in too quickly

I tried dating six times in my life. Every woman I met lied about being saved, what they really wanted from me, and that they cared for me. None were saved, they just wanted money, and they didn't care for me beyond what I could do for them. So I've been single all my life, never made love, and have left the church. I am angry, cynical, and don't believe in love anymore. I am a lost cause...oh and I tried counseling for 20 years and things are exponentially worse now than 20 years ago!
