Also, thank you so much for stating very clearly that it should never be unclear to the woman where you are in the relationship. I have been deeply wounded in every relationship by having to be the leader and I'm not doing that anymore....which has led to a dating desert. But either way, thank you as a man for calling men to a higher standard of clarity for men. Bless you.

Oh man. As someone who has been through literal hell in love, I long for protectors for when I start dating again. I have been that for others and am opening up to not being so flamingly independent.

So interesting to hear a different perspective on exclusivity. I always put being exclusive with being in a relationship but can see how others might define it and see it differently, putting it in the dating stage. I love how you talked about board of advisors. I do believe it is important to get friends (and maybe family’s) input, inviting them into the relationship. My circle is pretty small as a female, but I have a few close friends that I can ask for their input and to meet the guy. I do need more of the mentors or those older than me though. I am transitioning to a different church and the pastor knows me since it’s kind of small. So hopefully I can find some strong community there. I always gravitate toward young adults but it is important to have community of all ages too. I’ll have to go back and take notes, along with taking notes from your other videos. It honestly is nice when guys initiate and ask out, and have the conversation. I haven’t had that experience on dating apps though. I’m the type who wants to go on a date right away and doesn’t want to just talk over text. I get that maybe guys have had experiences where the girl wasn’t ready to meet in person. How does one take the conversation from dating apps to real life? I get frustrated because I am always the one initiating and asking out. Sometimes the guy puts too much pressure also by asking all these questions before we meet up. I know I need to work on on taking it one date at a time and that I don’t need to know quickly if I want to be in a relationship. But it would be nice if guys took the lead sometimes and were clear.

Sooo much great advice in this episode. I know I have a need for mentorships/board of trustees lol. I am having a challenging time finding those type of people that I feel comfortable enough to play those roles. Any advice?

@@Leshagirl100 Board of trustees is clutch and imperative!! they can also be hard to find, trust takes time :) i think we definitely see people being to shy to 1) assert themselves in community and 2) take ownership of initiating friendships!!
