In this video I cover the steps to shipping a 1kg parcel through Hermes.
I do it through the website and also through the Hermes app showing you how to do the click & drop with the QR code.

Im confused as Vinted tells you thatthe seller has paid for EVRi label? i dont even own a home printer!!! christ why does it have to be so confusing and annoying!!

@@ralphington8441 Same here. Panic stations! My buyer bought a Yodel label and I thought how the hell do I post it? Anyway fortunately there is a grocers shop near me that does it and you don't need a printer (I haven't got one so was panicking). You just show them the barcode which Vinted email to you and they print it out and put it on your parcel. I have now made sure I have deleted all the options on my profile for shipping except Royal Mail. There is a UPS one you can't delete which is at the top of the list of options (they have obviously paid for it to be there and you can't delete it!) I have also put on all my listings in capital letters that I only post via the post office (Royal Mail). The is a newsagent close to me which does Evri. I'm sure there will be shops near you who do this. Good luck.

this videop is a fake liar paied by them (hermes) to get more parcel to steal from sellers/customers! in fact you can not contact anyone in case of problem.. but she do not say it.. good luck to find your hermes stolen parcel talikng to a robot

Many people including me feel guilty to just drop off and even use their printer without ever buying anything from the shop. Do you have any idea if the shopkeepers actually get paid from them or is myhermes used just to increase sales of other items, without the shopkeeper earn anything or just a penny or two from us? Wondering if the shopkeepers pay for the label inks from their pockets too

Hi there I work for Hermes as an Parcelshop driver, delivering and collecting parcels from shops. Each shop earns a percentage per parcel. So the more parcels that shop has the more that shops earns. Parcel lockers are a little different, similar concept but these are run by a company called inpost. They are responsible for the maintenance of the lockers but pay Hermes a fee for visiting these. I hope this answers your question. Hermes stock the printers :-) :-)

Loved this video! 👍 But I am still really confused about depop shipping. If you ship with just depop do you still require a hermes label or is the depop label enough? And how would you track the parcel if you ship with just depop?

Problem is selling on ebay is i dont know the post code of buyer until item sells, so cant give a postage price on listing .

I had a really bad experience with Hermes/Evri. they lost my parcels two times, and they don't have good customer service at all. Just a machine voice sends you in cycles. They have also increased their prices.

Well, I’ve got a package I can’t collect from local shop because Hermes didn’t give me a barcode only a 16 digit number that shopkeeper says they can’t use. Oh well..

Did you know that if you print your label at the parcel shop and it smudges (rainwater falling off coat etc.) you can print out another at the machine? Thank Goodness. The newer machines just scan the QR Reader square, whereas the slightly older machines want you to position your QR reader square under the scanner so that you can see it on the screen. Could you do a Hermes video on how to ship delicate or valuable items? Presuming they would require greater protection than a poly envelope and interested in the impact of the extra weight on your costs.

No problem. Once the item has sold on ebay - click on Packlink and weigh your parcel and make sure its under the size for the price and just print the label at home and stick it on :) Then drop it at the parcel shop and they scan it there xx

As in...i pay for the postage online with hermes.. hand write my adress..then let the hermes driver scan a code or something from my phone as proof i have paid? @@gInabr0wn yeah that's what I'm finding too unfortunately. You can import Ebay items onto the classic Hermes website, but even then it seems like if you don't pay via the app you won't get a QR code. It would be so much easier and make so much more sense if you could import from Ebay onto your phone and then pay on your phone to get the QR code. OOOR just keep is super simple and have the option to receive a QR code and print in store from wherever you buy your label from, including the Ebay website.

@@gInabr0wn it's a good idea but I don't know if I sell enough to warrant getting one. I have a printer but it's a normal paper one rather than one that prints the actual sticker, and I really like the sticker one they have in store. It's fancyyy. Do you have a sticker/label printer or just a normal one and sellotape the cut out label on?

Be VERY careful folks! Not all staff scan the parcels when they have arrived at their destination, or they simply are not getting to where they should go. The app. will specify “delivered” for some parcels and “On its way” (for ever and a day) for others. Why is on earth is ‘Next’ encouraging the use of Hermes, when many items are expensive? Using Hermes is risky.

look for real reviews on internet by customers.. i mean not trustpilot and feefo, 99% fake comment.. in fact 100% of Hermes victim would higly recommend you to not use them or to not by from sellers who are using them! you'll never get your parcel...

Ugh I hate those packages! Impossible to remove the label from them and annoying to open. Please don't use that.
