Never would have thought about elbows under the bar as a cue for vertical leg drive.

Paused video halfway through to say, fantastic. Interesting thoughts on posture vis-a-vis front bar/high bar/low bar thoracic dynamics as well. Agree on elbow position too. Flaring back causes me issues.

So hips and knees break at the same time on both high and low bar ?

With the arm position it's really helpful to push up on the bar like as if you are doing a behind the neck press. Especially when the weight is heavy it won't budge but you putting force into the bar will help you go up alot faster as well as correct your position

So for both high bar and low bar the elbows should be under the bar right?

If the elbows are under, does that mean the scapula aren't retracted and the upper back isn't squeezed together?

Wilson Yu I think you start with retraction and you just keep as much of it as u can whilst keeping the elbows under the bar

ftf70 lol, it's just his opinion based upon his experience, to say untamed or muscle docs way is false does not make sense. who are you to declare what's right and what isn't?

Joshua G - In the beginning of the video he implied that low bar squat you have to break at hips I initially. You don't. You break at the hips and break at the knees simotenously.
