This is one of the finest versions of this show I have ever seen. Performed in the summer of 2003 at The Phoenix Theater in Phoenix, Arizona. Directed and choreographed by Rogert L. Harper and featuring Tiffany Moore (Smitty) and David Chorley (Bud Frump)

I just watched the bit with Letterman; thought Norm McDonald was joking so I sought out the scene and sure enough, here it is. How does something so not funny make it onto a Broadway stage? If it wasn't real, I could see this being a Norm McDonald joke..."hey, they should do...eh...one of those there, eh, Broadway plays, you know? Where um...a bunch of office workers get mad about not having coffee and they, eh...they *SING* about it!"

Get a new Smitty, one that can sing on pitch (or in the same key) and on time. Every other aspect of this production seems great.

Choreography was excellent and the orchestra did a fine job. Pity the female lead (Smitty?) wasn't able to hear her entrance pitch. A bit painful.

Choreography killed me...the tempo was to fast....smitty killed me going in and out of keys...and god dammit people it's not a play it's a musical...play's are when people are strictly speaking in dialect...and musicals have singing and choreography in them FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THAT IS MUSICAL THEATER PLEASE STOP!
