Great video, I appreciate your step by step method to save photos. I do have a couple of questions: - Do the files stay in the same format (HEIF, HEVC/HEIF) when moved to the flash drive? - Can the files be returned to the folder that they were transferred from using the same steps? Thank you, Mark
Great! 1/ Can we use any kind of usb memory? 2/ How can I know if the usb memory needs high power or not? 3/ Do the metadata of the photos (time & place) will be saved as well?
Hi. 1. Yes, any kind of usb memory should work. 2. Usually, a USB3 memory requieres high power. 3. I'm not sure if all metadata is preserved but you can try and check it. Sometimes the data is modified.
Hi. You should need to check if the images was saved correctly. Or try saving groups, for example, of 500 images. Also you can try connecting the iPhone to the computer and using the Image Capture app. I have this videos showing that process (in spanish): ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ZAq_dhdEKAI.htmlsi=6oalOZPjUCZWxlrC
Hi. If you will transfer to a Mac, you can do it using Airdrop, I have a video explaining the process. If you will transfer to Windows, yes, you will need an app.
Apple will not let you keep videos transferred from the internet to a flash drive. They keep deleting them. Because they are not mine to keep on a flash drive. Wednesday 29th March 2023. U.K. Southampton 🏴
