Plastic molds are readily available in cake decorating stores and online, offering a vast array of shapes, sizes, and designs. These molds are typically made from food-grade plastic, ensuring they are safe for use. One of the key advantages of plastic molds is their affordability, making them accessible to decorators of all skill levels. Properly tempering the chocolate, which involves heating and cooling it to specific temperatures, ensures a glossy finish and perfect texture. However, with proper maintenance and storage, silicone molds can become a decorator's trusted ally, offering endless possibilities for artistic expression.
While plastic and silicone molds provide the structure for decorative creations, the choice of chocolate plays a vital role in the final result. Different types of chocolate have varying melting points, textures, and flavors.

Hi Chris, Thank you for the lovely comment. I'm so happy you enjoyed the tutorial. I have no idea where you would find this mould in the USA. I actually browse my cake decorating local store every couple of weeks.. and I saw this mould there and knew my little son would love it, so I purchased it from there..
