Hey! first of all congrats on your new job, I wanted to ask you if you would be so kind to do a video of a cruise tutorial in the 737, how to check for proper frequency handover, FIR boundary awareness, abeam points after a direct for fuel and time checks and so on. Happy landings.

Thx for the video! As always very informative. Short Question: Is there a way of adding a tertiary flight plan or multiple ones more generally? Because if that's not the case you wouldn't be able to setup your next leg and have an approach for a different runway at the same time.

Depends on the plane of course, many aircraft have a RTE 2 feature or a secondary flight plan.

Thank you for your videos, really informative and tied to real life OPS. I am currently studying for my EASA ATPL and have one question concerning the above, would you in real life OPS use the secondary F-PLAN function also for standby programming a related DP (Decision Point) approach procedure involving salvaging contingency fuel? Thanks!

No, I wouldn't. I'd enter the DP along the route in my active flight plan by creating a new way point. The entire idea of the Decision Point procedure is to give you a legal way to do a flight you could otherwise not do, but not to "seriously" expect a diversion. You'll have plenty of time to switch things around if needed.

Have you ever used sec fpl to already have your route inserted for next leg when flying rotations? (To reduce turnaround time)

How do you programm a straight out EOSID? So without mentioned VOR or so? E.g for EDDF 25C

Type in "EDDF25C/247/25" and press the third left key.

If you do that it'll draw the point based on the airport reference point and not based on the runway. With the runway it's more precise.
