HSE: Carapacians & Exiles, Pt. 1 

I feel like you did AR dirty in this video. He didn't just almost do something useful, fail and die. He hesitated to flip the switch for too long because he couldn't bring himself to blow up WV (as said by Hussie).

OD, did you notice that the beta kids' exiles correspond to the client players of the command stations they are in? WV is John's exile and his command station is a bottle cork (Rose's entry item), PM is Jade's exile and her station is an apple (John's entry item), WQ is Rose's exile and her station is an egg (Dave's entry item), and AR is Dave's exile and his station is Becquerel's head (Jade's entry item).

last time I was this early the beta kids were the only kids and their biggest concern was entering the game.

carapacians are actually my second favorite species in homestuck (first being cherubs), i find them so adorable and intresting :D

Jackspers Noirscrow and Bec Noir was alias made up by humans not Jack Noir himself so they don't need to follow the naming conventions.

Jackspers Noirlecrow is easier to say when Noir is pronounced as nwahr, because it’s the french word for black. Also, Coup is pronounced coo. Again, blame the French/Normans. And Peregrine is peh reh grin

9:00 this is a very interesting idea, and could provide credence to Heir being an active class, as they literally inherent properties, characteristics, abilities, and experiences, of the other existing classes, to benefit themselves mostly.

I often like to imagine the carapacians on Earth C playing the role of parents/guardians to the first wave of baby humans and troll wrigglers right after the Kids left via time travel. And all the cuteness that would entail.

Carapacians are the most underrated characters in homestuck, and I understand why.

I think AR actually had a pretty big impact on PM his death from my perspective is the turning point where she became a true prospitian monarch

I’ve read that the King’s Scepter can work on any carapacian as long as the King hasn’t deactivated it. I don’t have any source to point you to, but you can see him deactivate it before giving it to PM.

And PM following your Logic on witches Created a Monster Her self By becoming it. And Jade and Dave seem to be the few Players that have Carapacians that correspond to their Actual Lunar sway.

I did not find the exile subplot interesting at all. It was my least favorite part of Homestuck, and I would have preferred to see more of the beta kids. I would prefer it if the carapacians were not a major part of Hiveswap One thing that confuses me about the comic is why the mayor of can town never got voted out of office. The moment he talked about kings and democracy I was just waiting for it to happen, and yet somehow it didn't? The setup was there for a plot about becoming what you hate and it should have all ended with a bunch of smashed cans, a squished firefly, and a king that tries to mind control everybody using his text console I thought that the Black Queen was Meenah in a slightly different form? I assumed that the kingdom she was exiled from was the Imperial Troll empire. She was able to break free of the Doctor-controlled Sburb to take the throne as The Condense only to later lose the crown to Trizza. Meenah goes backwards in time to escape and plot her revenge, but meets her final fate at the end of Scratch's gun and later on in the comic the Doctor suddenly has a fancy title and control over the troll's homeworld I never made any connection between derse and the black queen. How are the two supposed to be linked?
