It’s wild how many people are clueless on these topics, and also in denial if you do mention it. We have been slowly adapted to live in a sick world and think it’s normal.

Absolutely. Treated no better than factory farmed animals when all we are here for is to tend to the garden. (Eden)

That's what I'm doing -- GARDENING!!! I'm ahead of the curve ... I bought an awesome property Dec 2019 -- 6+ acres in the mountains of BC. There was neglected fruit trees but still they're here and produce some fruits. I've been studying and employing permaculture and regenerative methods on my huge garden. Biggest issue is I'm on a gravel pit :) The neighbor said "We grow rocks" here -- it's on the west side of the Rockies ... there's a reason they call it the ROCKIES. I have excellent water sources (2 wells and creek 500 feet away ... working on rainwater catchment). I'm building the soil through biochar and other natural additions but mostly they say the best soil is under the tree and I have tons of trees. Obesity is because the body isn't getting nutrients -- the food doesn't have nutrients because the soil has no nutrients. One orange in the 1970s requires 4 oranges today to get the same amount of nutrients. Doctors today are drug pushers and they're incentive is their life style -- have to make that Mercedes Benz payment :( Thank you for your talk and fantastic knowledge!!!

That is wonderful. I feel for people who can’t prep like this ❤ we have 3.5 acres outside of Edmonton, I’m working on my garden and I always hope I can help others who don’t have access to as many resources if something happens. I’m not THAT prepared though yet lol

The worst is when you walk out of the front door there's a garden of grass, unfortunately when you rent you can't start digging up grass for vegetable. It's so ass backwards

But you can buy raised beds and pots to plant in, that's what I'm doing. I've got no garden but my little balcony looks like a jungle. You can get great mini fruit trees that do well in pots. Carrots, cabbage, strawberries, potatoes, and much more will grow in pots. Maybe give it a go.

3-4 of my neighbours across the street have large yards and use heavy chemicals to keep their lawns perfect and all I can think of it how it’s all leaking into my yard 😩 we can garden anywhere though (semi-rural so not many rules)

Just to give a little hope, I run a K-8th grade school in southern Appalachia that teaches the children how to calculate and communicate through growing their own food ... it is a model that is working extremely well! The movie Kiss the Ground is part of the middle school curriculum, and our kids graduate ready to ROCK!! Your message has been so inspiring 》》 thank you for all the energy you give, Zach 》》 irs making a difference!

So I got an ad for Bayer promoting their new crop spray. During this video. Not even kidding Sneaky bastages. Love the channel, didn't realize it was so small relative to the quality of content. My channels small too but its just me. :) but I love the intimate nature of channels that aren't bombarded with too many controversies and arguments

“Victory Gardens” + “we have to reinvent food systems from the household up” I’ve brought these two ideas together and invented a smart farming appliance. A fixture that can be embedded into homes and restaurants that can grow enough yield and variety to be able to opt out of the industrial ag system What is grown is chosen by families and chefs, on a regular output to meet their daily needs. Without land use, pesticides, chemical run off, processing, preservation, packaging, transportation, food waste. Farm to fork in 10’ I call it the Victory smart farming appliance, paying homage to the distributed and decentralized farming we used to do, as Zach mentioned, that was a much more self sovereign and resilient way to produce food

We've been weakened to Google cuz ppl are isolated and don't know how to be. No idea of Thier neighbors, I smiled at one last week One of them snarled at me the other day. Doesn't make sense. So yeah nobody is worth my energy if it's going to be like that, it's exhausting.

Keep trying. Go for a walk tomorrow if you've got the time, and say hello or good morning to everyone you pass. You'll get ignored by a few, weird looks from a few, but you'll also end up talking to complete strangers about all sorts of things. I met a man a few days ago with his dog and we started talking about the carnivore diet which somehow led to folklore. Forget the ones who don't respond, we're not meant to click with everyone.
