This is a 52" Hunter Original ceiling fan in the Bright Brass finish shown with Walnut finish blades and a 26192 green "Cased-Glass" light kit. This fan features your standard 3-speed reversible motor and offers reversible Walnut/Oak finish blades that can be mounted in either a 4 or 5 blade configuration. The model number is 23854 and this fan was manufactured in 1997.
Probably everything there is to say about the Hunter Original has been said by now. This iconic model in the industry boasts over 100 years of production, obviously not without iterations and changes over that time period. To many, these late 90's/early 2000's Originals sort of symbolize the peak of the Originals production as this period was the tail end of made in America production for this model. Even the box proudly notes "Made in America for over 100 Years". Honestly I get the hype. The quality of materials is second to none, even merely by the fact that this is one of those fans that blur the lines between commercial use and residential use. Weighing in at roughly 45lbs, the cast-iron construction and oil-bath lubrication system allows these fans to run for many decades after installation.
Overall this is just a high quality fan and really the flagship model of perhaps the best known fan company. All things considered, the airflow is way above average for a residential grade fan.
