Ha mine worked by HW100. Mine was a new rifle but knowing it would lose power it was good to know this tuning would fettle it. Great service from HW100 and rifle shoots beautifully 👍🏻
I bought one for my lad, same as you in the knowledge of the power drop issue. We fully intended to get it fettled hy hw100 tuning whether there was an issue or not & it goes in next weekend. Extended titanium cylinder & hammer spring replacement. It's a phenomenally accurate gun. I might even get one for myself cos my lad is wiping my eye with it against my 100ks.
I have the HW 110 T and I couldn’t be happier, it’s so accurate. No problems with power dropping so far. Mine is produced 11/2021 and I made around 2k shots.
The british market is small, compared to the rest of the world. I could tune my unrestricted HW-100 to be more efficient, with a specific pellet type, there is room for improovement, even on that. For the brit market, they have to make shure, the energy doesn't exceed 12fpe, They'd rather be safe than sorry, also it makes more sence, to use the best employees for the worldwide market, and leave the small sub 12fpe market, to less experienced people. So there should be a lot more room for finetuning a british airgun, even if it already seems perfect. I personally will never adjust the trigger, this already has been done, by someone far more capable, than i am.

They really are fantastic guns to handle & are phenomenally accurate. My lad (and me) can't wait to get his back from hw100 tuning. And while I'm here Simon, i'd like to say your customer service is second to none. The best I've encountered. Hi Simon hope you're well. Can I ask how you've found the gun after the work done by hw100 tuning? My lads has been faultless I must say. Have you tried the qys heavies through it? We've found them to be phenomenally accurate. I use them in my hw100 as well.
I'm not sure it's quite as bad as that, but the original .177s seem to suffer with a bit of powerless over time. If you buy from a reputable dealer such as Redbeck shooting supplies, who offer a lifetime warranty, you shouldn't have any worries.. it seems pretty much every rifle has a known fault these days though.. BSA have reg probs, Daystar have a few build issues and the list goes on.. I absolutely love my hw110 now it's sorted though.. very accurate in the right hands..
Very nice and helpful video. Can I ask if the new silencer is as good and what make and model is it please? Really enjoyed this and like you I'm trying smaller size scopes to try and get away from long scopes. 👍
Hi,it's one of the new Weihrauch XLK silencers and I don't think it's massively quieter than the old one, but the short stumpy style male the rifle more pointable and I just really like the look and Matt finish. Many thanks for the feedback and comment. Simon
My lad put a huggett belita on his 110k and it really looks the business. Not quite as quiet as the hw supplied mod but it makes the gun handier which was a trade off that was acceptable. Also he went down the smaller scope route with a hawke airmax touch which really suits the gun. Simon has a similar scope in his range which is an itch I may have to scratch cos I really like the look of it.

Tell me more about this power adjust you had fitted is it allowed on uk sub 12ft & what would be the most it would put the power up to, Would it go to FAC power levels if needed, Or isit to just adjust the power down from sub 12ft...
FAC in the UK, is any air rifle producing a power over 12ftlb, so yes I guess you could turn the power up, to make your rifle illegal. The power is adjustable to what upper limit I do not know, and could potentially allow you to exceed the legal limit, however this is not the reason or purpose for adjustment and it's more about consistency, avoiding power drop and being able to tune your rifle for a particular pellet.
@@tobelleys-qn8cz Hi, whatever pellet or slug weight you use in the UK, the power of the rifle if tested with a random pellet by the police must not exceed the legal limit. The responsibility lies with the user so you would have to use good judgement and common sense to stay within the spirit of the law.
Hi Gary, HW100 tuning don't fit a reg as part the power adjuster and cylinder change I had done. The HW110 is very consistent out of the box and I have never felt the need to add a reg. I get 40+ very consistent shots out of mine,which is more than enought for a HFT comp..
