@@gezenews I know you're being hyperbolic but there are so many naturally funny people on this planet. one of the great joys of my life is hearing someone say some out of pocket, perfectly hilarious shit during a conversation, off the top of their heads. once in a while I get to be that someone, it's so fucking fun
While it's a good thing to acknowledge that Tom is here to serve, it's most important to remember that Conor Roy was interested in politics at a very young age.
A lot of people here seem to have missed the expression on Roman's face after their short exchange. Yeah, Roman knows exactly that Tom is telling him this out of pure self-interest - but deep down he is really pissed about the whole letter thing. The alliance between the siblings is already falling apart, as expected. Tom knows this and he is using it to gain leverage. I mean, did you notice that smile on his face when he walked away from Roman? He is kind of chuckeling there. After years within this family, Tom knows Roman well enough to realize that he has hit a sensitive spot there.
It's crazy how people don't get this. Tom is being very calculating here and, for once, seems to be enjoying it. He knows that the Roy's do not like him and he doesn't like The Roys, so he is just being cunning here and trying to cause more tension.
@@amitojsingh7583 and doing it by talking behind people's back, seducing them? Lying to them? You better watch the show again or I guess you are one of thise people and dont just see it?...
Shiv was brutally cruel to Tom while he was relentlessly loving and attempting to be understanding to her. The pain was saw from him on the beach, or when she refused to comfort him when he was going to jail, was very real. Tom's love for Shiv is the realest romantic love on the show; his "hollow" reminiscence is what Shiv needs it to be to excuse the way she has openly abused, cheated on, insulted and deceived him throughout the show. Unfortunately, I think Tom's love for Shiv is the only part of him that's not a strategy.
@@Uptomyknees Tom obviously loves Shiv, but it's disingenuous to say he's not being strategic in that moment. When Logan was alive he was still trying to figure out how the divorce would affect his standing in the company. He didn't approach her at the wake out of pure love. He did it for the same reasons he approached everyone else.
@@Uptomyknees Shiv is not a saint but let's not act like he isn't a glorified gold digger social climber like Frank said. Didn't you notice that everytime she was vulnerable he manipulated her too lol : when her father had a stroke he proposed to her , now her father is dead he's talking reminiscing about the past, when he was going to prison he wanted to baby trap her. It's obvious he cares about here but only a blind person wouldn't see that he's not being manipulative.
Tom's a dark horse, He might even be working with Matsson. Everytime he talks to Shiv, I feel like he is trying to throw her a life line because he knows what's coming. Tom used Greg the last episode to leak to the media of Logan's death. He also knows Greg will copy his Logistics file before he deletes it, and he knows Greg will leak that too.
I dont think so. If Roman hlf as smart as people give him credit for he wont. But since Tom did it on purpose and Romans ego flourished after that ..idk anything at this point
So many people hate Kendall and I feel they miss the point and don’t comprehend that 99% of his ‘bad’ behavior is all trauma responses. He generally is far more kind and caring than either Roman or Shiv.
Kendall is definitely kinder than some people give him credit for. But to say 99% of his bad behaviour is a trauma response is...a bit 'uWu'. I mean...he's an adult, the oldest son (after Connor). not everything he does can be hand-waved as 'he had an abusive dad and absent mum'. a lot of it is on him.
You can say that about all the children lol which is literally the premise of the show. Trauma and abuse explain behavior it doesn't justify it he's a grown ass men.
