@@Affirmingtree The effects the different demons provide are very strong and scale with follower level. By the end game with demon circle 3, I was gaining 6 times more fervour, had a bomb follower that regularly killed several enemies instantly by itself, and had 5 extra blue hearts at the start of the run. the roguelite part of the game is easy enough that you dont strictly 'need' it even on the hardest difficulty, but that doesnt lessen the impact the building has

aspects of the dungeon crawl feel underdeveloped. It really seems like it was built around dagger and axe. sword is middle option, gaunlets are unreasonable for a game where contact = damage, and this is the first time I've even seen hammer. and yeah, I don't think the curses do enough damage for the limited fervour you can gain? but yeah, I think the limitations are to allow for the procedural generation...

​@@Nowolf gauntlets are actually cracked, their range is way bigger than first appears and the third hit covers like half a room in distance. your description of gauntlets honestly feels like my opinion on dagger. fervor gain's not an issue after you get like any of the upgrades related (circle, curse tree, any of the tarot cards, the bussin fleece). only curse archetype thats kinda meh is the lob shot archetype, all the others go mad hard though. hounds of fate busted, divine guardian freelo run. all the melee range blasts are very useable, sword curses are pog for ignoring projectiles. you for real get to a point where you can clear floors without swinging your weapon at all and just vomit curses nonstop, no foils even needed. stuff to look for to really go hard are multipliers to fervor dropped by enemies, fervor auto refilling at the end of each room, fervor cost down and refill over time. if you ever get a foil version runs over you won pog off king.

​@@XanderFenikkusu ok, rewatched the clip, he said "you ever consider if you don't want to get downvoted having better opinions that the majority of people agree with?" which really shouldn't be interpreted as "the majority always has the correct opinion", especially when you consider he disagrees with the reddit majority sometimes in e.g. react court streams. he was really saying that people who get downvoted usually have bad opinions, and if they want more upvotes they should either post a better opinion *or* post an opinion more people agree with
