I Bought A New Ball Python! Snake buying strategy and how to decide what ball python to get next

Isn't spotnose one of the ones used to create Batman? Or maybe I remember it wrong lol. I think it was leopard, spotnose and something else. When I will pick up a ball python I'm gonna take Kent's advice and ask the breeder how many people it has killed 😂

I tend to buy super and co-dom loaded males and 100% hets if it's a really respected breeder. When buying females I tend to look for visual recessive close to or at breeding size and maybe a co-dom gene thrown that will compliment the genes the male could throw. I also will buy big normal females as my males are or will be powerhouses are all on their own and can make some visually stunning snakes even when paired with a normal. Even if you throw a few normals you can still usually get them sold. One reptile convention I went to three vendors had a lot of morphs left and said that normals were selling fast at that particular show. So it never hurts to have some to offer. If nothing else if you get a female normal you can always raise them up to expand your breeding pairs. And if you get a male normal you might get a nice hold back co-dom female to go with him if you don't want to throw more genes her way and just work what she has. If you're really tight on space and don't want to deal with normals you could always have your pairings involve at least one super or visual recessive snake in the pairing. I personally have the room to expand and have gene loaded males so a big female normal at a good price to me always feels like a must buy lol. I really think powerhouse males are underrated in the industry. But it doesn't really bother me I've got some really good deals on them because of this lol.

I have a new snake and it's not drinking what shall I do and does the humidity box help hydrate I could use some tips and it's not ate yet as well since I got it I purchased 2 for the first time and 1 baby is ok and the other is having trouble settleing in I like the videos ther grait thanks

If I’m only getting one snake and not interested in breeding, do ball pythons act differently and have different eating habits during breeding season even if they aren’t actually breeding?
