Great purchase!! You could always try Jimmy Oakes trick for the grill and use one from an older model Nissan Sentra - just need to cut the guts out of it

Have you considered buying a 3D printer & printing your own grill? It would probably work out about the same price as buying a bit of original frost-damaged plastic, & you'd then have a handy sideline printing replacement JDM trim pieces... :-)

Great video, these were great cars and to find a 31 yr old car in that shape, it has great bones, in Canada they were called the 240SX, slightly more HP, all the best fun in these cars is between, 40 and 120 mph and in Ireland i know if your caught by the Constables they're not pleased, they weren't with this Canadian anyways 😂 this car is still faster than my Volvo 240 by 2 seconds, you'll have fun getting bits together for this car, they're brilliant with new suspension, tires, and brakes on them, i look forward to the future videos on this nice clean JDM Silvia of yours 👍

Get that exhaust sorted, the engine serviced, also get it mapped by someone who knows what they are doing, the car will feel totally different for the better, and a realistic sub 8sec 0-60 time, 😉👍🏻

Looks pretty rust free, which is a major bonus as I gather a lot more Japanese imports are showing up with tinworm these days where once that was rare. Maybe because a fair number of 90's "icons" are being dragged out of longterm storage to flog off now the (mostly)US buyers are pushing up the prices? Not surprised at some showing up with crash damage. That was an issue even back in the early noughties. Here in Ireland anyway. R category cars tarted up by dodgy importers who always 'lost' the auction reports. "Ah sure by law they have to keep them in Japan y'know". Never mind them all 'magically' having only 40,000 kms on the clock. Crooked numbers notwithstanding. 😁 Also hasn't been fecked around with, so makes it a helluva base to make it all yours. The interior bits and bobs look OEM and in good nick too. A good thing as that stuff has gone a bit daft pricewise. Even does burnouts, with some effort. 😉 PS; Have noticed of late the JDM trend for Nardi wheels, whereas 10 years plus ago it was far more Momo.
