Actually - Angelina is 12 years old in this video - she just turned 12 and got a new microphone for her birthday, so she sat down on the couch and tested it out - what is interesting here is that Angelina is holding the microphone backward and she still sounds great!

Hey D, that was a pretty long note, eh? Hysterical! But D, it all happens when she sings for us. When she speaks to us she is the sweetest, loveliest young lady we would ever want to know. You reacted plenty with all of your facial expressions :-) It indeed becomes hard to react in word, though you can talk about the stuff you did or how it makes you feel, memories it triggers. It is easy to enjoy this and be carried away for a little while and forgot about life and Morris. You could have some fun with family and friends: let them listen to the audio only and than guess as much as then can about the recording, the artist and the circumstances. If someone guesses one of the following correct, they are amazing: (1) a 12 year old (2) sitting (not standing) (3) on a sofa in a living room (4) singing along with a track (5) doing a raw one take recording (6) while holding the microphone the wrong way around (the brand tag should be facing her). Just getting one right is amazing!

The GOAT in my opinion also. 'I'ld Rather Go Blind' I saw Cadillac Records and Beyoncé killed that song. How old was she in that? Angelina was 12 here got the mic for her birthday and what an investment. Here is Angelina, just sitting, sitting on the couch singing into the mic backwards, purposely or not and belting out the best rendition I have ever heard. I was instantly transported back to 1968 when I was 13. That was at the very height of Motown probably my favorite period in music. That music was magical. Angelina could have been born in '56 and she would have been one of best Motown Artists of the time in '68 and doing it at 12 yrs old. I can guarantee Angelina picked out that mic and again what a choice. And now you see her very recently doing one of her best renditions of Adele's new song which she did on Tic-Toc from what I heard was about 12 hrs after it's release. Followed by this studio version and yes she has now equalled all of the greatest artists of all time. The GOAT! And she's only 16! 16! The Music Industry isn't prepared for what is coming. Not sure I am. I feel like the luckiest man in the world to be able to watch this young phenom grow up in front of my eyes and I only hoped on this train about 2 yrs ago. Unfortunately I won't be here to see the peak of her career, and that will be sad. Oh, what I wouldn't give to be 16 again and have a chance to see it all. ♥👣👸🏻🎷

Maybe you don’t notice because Angelina‘s breathing is part of her vocal artistry. (Some reactors have said that post production often removes the singers breaths. But Angelina‘s studio productions retain her breathing. I believe because she makes it a beautiful part of the composition. Someone recently suggested in a reaction comment that she inhales on-key with the music.)

Many times I have seen Angelina sing 14 seconds on a single breath. This is the longest I have seen her sing on one breath. I measured 17 seconds (2:33 to 2:50).

your problem with giving a critique of Angelina's performances maybe comes from being swamped with too much to comment on... Maybe, if a very small sample, a line or half a line or a word was held up as an example what she puts into her music it might let us better savor/appreciate what she does.
